These tea bags produced by Art of Tea are the best I've come across. They're made from abaca pulp, cellulose and sealing fiber, and are unbleached, biodegradable and chlorine free. Not only have I been using them for my daily tea, I used one yesterday in lieu of cheesecloth and cotton twine to hold the contents of my bouquet garni for my chicken stock. It worked perfectly. And, because it's biodegradable, the entire thing can go directly into the compost pile after use.
Wow! Laugh, cry, laugh, cry...what else can I say?
